Pain Pill Addiction

Pain pill addiction is an addiction to opioids or opiates, which are medications that treat pain and other symptoms. Some of these medications are illegal, like heroin, while often time others are prescribed. Pain pill addiction can occur with any medication that gives the person relief from chronic pain, such as arthritis or back pain. Over time, the person develops a dependency and needs more of the drugs to feel normal or happy.

Licensed Staff & Board Certified Doctors

Our staff is licensed and experienced with using medications to end physical withdrawal symptoms and help you cope with cravings as safely and painlessly as possible.

All of our doctors are board certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine. This means they have made the commitment to become experts in the field of addiction medicine and have passed rigorous testing by the Board examiners.

Why is this important?
Most doctors attempting to treat drug dependent individuals are not boarded addictionologists. Physicians who are not specifically board certified in addiction medicine cannot treat you legally if you take other medicines for anxiety or if you are a pregnant woman without the consultation of an addictionologist.

Also non-boarded doctors are limited by law on how much medicine you may be prescribed and/or for how long you may be treated and therefore may not be able to adequately treat your disease.

We understand every patient has different needs and "cookie cutter" treatment by a non-certified doctor may not be right for you.
